I HAVE EXAMINED THIS PIECE AND THE HEAVY LINE ON THE INSIDE IS A FACTORY FLAW AS WELL. THERE IS JUST SOME VERY LIGHT ROUGHNESS ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE RIM IF YOU RUN YIUR FINGER ALONG.
